Transcript: ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS Despite my complaining, I don't hate Pokémon Scarlet. I just didn't have very much fun with it. I can see the effort and care that went into the game, but I feel like as a product/experience that effort doesn't translate very well. Scarlet(and technically Violet as well) suffers from being pulled into two directions. In one a huge open world where players are free to explore and collect tons of Pokémon. And the other being a curated storytelling experience that the player experiences at a steady pace. Visually I think the Pokémon themselves look pretty good, even if the environments look plain at their best, but concessions must be made when on such a limited budget and time frame. Though, despite all my whining, I still love Pokémon

It had good ideas, but executed middlingly, and harmed by each other. The open progression is cool, but harms the story's pace & poignancy. The Dex feels too big and small; many mons feel redundant, despite many exclusions. It feels unfinished, despite clear effort.(more in pics)

I think pizza is the ultimate food. It’s so versatile and customizable. You can have it any way you’d want. Any kind of crust. Any cheese, non-dairy cheese, no cheese. And pretty much whatever toppings you desire. And all that before you even discuss the many styles of pizza.

I 1000% agree. The Vital Bracelet series was the only V-pet that I’ve genuinely loved. I still use mine despite the discontinuation of it.

It makes me really sad that Bandai discontinued support for the Vital Bracelet v-pet series. It really was the most competent and engaging virtual pet I've ever had, and I wish they'd continue making DIM cards for them.

Why hasn't someone tried to make an analog horror out of those "life hack" channels.

That's honestly a brilliant idea and I'm surprised that I've never seen anyone do that either. Now that you've got me thinking about that, they seem perfect for analog horror style stuff.
