I absolutely agree. However, we should also be preparing for Trump to do this anyway regardless of the facts. How may times has MAGA and the GOP disregarded facts? IMO, we should do what Robert says her for now. However, we should be preparing for the very real possibility the act will come anyway.

Not now Senator. Maybe when Congress reigns in the executive branch. I have a feeling the MAGA opposition is going need access to guns before all is said and done.

Well then isn't it long past time we started preparing to end this and actually win? Why are we not preparing to fight? Who is going to stop him if not us? The Congress? The Courts?

And when does it become the right of the people- the real Americans- to remove him by whatever means are necessary? If we won't fight, we will lose this republic. Trump is not a legitimate POTUS. He has proven that through words and deeds.

Senator, Democrats should get to the root of the problem with all of this inflation. Balance the federal budget and stop the Fed from buying US debt with newly printed money.

Yes, we know trickle down economics doesn't work. Where does all of this currency originate from? It originates because the Fed keeps buying government debt with newly created money. This is why we have such mal-distribution of wealth. Without this mechanism, inflation would be 10x lower.

The economic conditions caused by outrageous government deficits have left about 1/3 of the country with very low IQs looking for someone to blame. Trump has used this to his advantage. Government deficits cause inflation, asset bubbles and mal-distribution of wealth.

Anyone who believes MAGA is going to give up power is not facing reality. One a fascist party consolidates power, there are no historical examples where it has been peacefully removed. If we will not fight, we will lose. The opposition should be organizing for this possibility.

I agree that demographics is part of the issue, but if most people were able to participate in economic prosperity there would be less radicalism on both sides. People are radicalized when they have no stake in the social order and inflation breeds a haves and have not type of society.

I agree with most everything said here. However, when are we going to address the root cause of Trump's rise? That root cause is affordability and inflation. Inflation in America at these levels is caused by only one thing- government deficits. If this continues, the next Trump will be worse.

IMO, Democrats should think long and hard about the conviction that big government is always a good thing. While a competent and efficient government is indeed a good thing, we often get neither. Now, that government is controlled by a dictator and white supremacists.

Senator, I respect people like Gandhi. However, I do not believe the peaceful approach always works. What if India had been colonized by the Germans instead of the English. Would Gandhi's approach have worked on the Nazis?

Workers in blue states should go to their HR departments and increase their deductions, dependents etc. Send as little money to the federal government as possible. You could owe a tax bill at the end of the year- just don't spend the extra money.

IMO, this regime is no longer a legitimate American government. The people should begin preparing to resist. You cannot be MAGA and be an American Patriot. MAGA is a front for fascism and disgusting cult of personality.

We should be preparing to do our part. This fight is not going to be won from behind a keyboard. Trump has declared war on his political enemies. I say we believe him. Not every military unit will obey him. Those who win these types of conflicts write the history.

When are you folks going to realize that this does not end in the normal way. There is no way America goes back to what it was before Trump. The fascists have been let loose and are in fact in control of the government. If we won't fight, we will be rolled over.

Remember that the US military was chased out of Iraq by lightly armed insurgents. Every army unit would not obey Trump. If the opposition believes we get out of this without a fight, it is being too optimistic.
