Who could have predicted that one practice match prior to the first Test wouldn't be sufficient?

Do south east Londoners support Sadiq Khan? Poll Do south east Londoners support Sadiq Khan? Vote in our poll.

This little poll seems to have really upset the racists - many of whom don't appear to live anywhere near London

Why not upset them a little more.

I’ve known the source of this story for 30 years - and he’s never diverged from his account of Farage’s anti semitism. The only thing that’s changed is his willingness to take on anti semitic apologists

Marjorie Taylor Greene Just Wrecked the Cult of Trump The Georgia congresswoman’s extraordinary takedown of Trump Tuesday morning sent a signal that no Republican can now ignore.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's big takedown of Trump today is powerful because it broadcasts that he's losing control over the GOP. His sudden call for release of files wasn't about transparency. It was about sustaining the illusion that he controls the party.

‘Out of touch’ hereditary peers criticised for voting against workers’ rights Lords look ‘undemocratic and firmly against interest of working people’, say senior trade union and Labour figures

Finally, after I've been talking about it for weeks and after the Lord's voted 3 separate times to water down the Employment Rights Bill, I see the story is picked up in the media!

Hey Labour

Remember the majority of voters who believe in treating people decently and not stealing from those who've endured months and years of hardship fleeing war and persecution to seek a place of safety?

We're still over here 👋

When a Labour government sees the approval of Tommy Robinson as more important that the approval of the Labour Party membership, things are probably going wrong

Mahmood is moving further towards, and further towards normalising, the Reform/Tory line on refugees - a truly cruel, stupid and counterproductive idea. Matching a loud demand for integration with the effective withdrawal of a route to permanent settlement for refugees is pure evil genius.

Libraries purchase books. When you see a book at the library, it isn’t “free”

the library bought it.

which in turn means that the community bought it.

In other words, library books are not lost sales for authors and publishers; they’re positive sales. Active sales. Those are bought.

Do you notice that Donald Trump sues everybody, but has he ever sued any of the people accusing him of sexually molesting children? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall that happening. Maybe because he doesn't want to see them present their evidence in a court of law.
