I just finished John D Crossan’s latest book, Paul the Pharisee. He further explores the historical Paul, which he sees as an outgrowth of his work on historical Jesus. Crossan may well be the greatest NT scholar of the last 50 years. It is a privilege to read his work. Still going strong at age 90.

Instead of confronting the demons, MAGA wants to deny their existence. The divisions among us cannot be healed until the demons are exorcised.
