maybe the funniest thing in the first rogue trader expansion is they fleshed out a minor character (captain of the ship's fire fighting teams) and turned him into what i can only describe as the hot firefighter from a 90s romance novel and it 100% works even in the warhammer setting.

honestly i'm just kind of amazed lollapalooza is still going on just because, like, a lot of stuff from when i was a kid is just gone now. 35 years is an impressive run for a music show, that's pretty cool.

basically, urban pigs were a big nuisance, but people kept them anyways because pigs. so in cities you were expected to keep your pigs in line. any stray pig could be slaughtered by anyone who caught it.

i wonder if the first story wasn't a super-charitable description of this practice.

oh, wow. so, i've heard stories about medieval cities having "free roaming pigs that the poor were allowed to slaughter for themselves as a form of public doll" but miller paints a fascinatingly different story about english pigs.
