Just plain ol' knitting did it for me -_- Starting PT on Monday.

On a related note to my last post (ha ha, I apparently claim all the RSI as mine), if anyone wants a Melt the Ice cap and doesn't knit or crochet themselves, I am a professional fiber artist, and I am commissionable.

Super can't wait for my first PT session for my hand(s) next week. This morning it's been difficult to do things like dry my hands after washing them, or carry my phone in my left hand.

Those were two of my notes, as well. The audio mixing was an issue throughout, but especially a problem during the climax. And there were a few sequences that could have been tightened up in editing. But esp for a first film? Dayum.

Oh boy, it's 9° F, time to work in my basement studio 🥶 (I love and am lucky to have my basement studio, but holy fuck I wish it were friendly to space heaters.)

And just like that, I found myself the owner of maybe half a dozen Citadel paints.

I'm grateful to my knitting machine for enabling me to do a particular project more quickly and limit the amount of RSI involved, but good goddamn is hand knitting easier and way less frustrating for me @_@

Oh jeeze, that sounds terrible @_@ I've never broken a bone, but I imagine one that's right around the area of the most flexion during breathing is especially problematic. And for lots of other reasons. I hope it heals quickly and cleanly!

Nothing like being unable to knit on a particular project for a few days because you sliced your thumb open on a *very visibly and obviously* sharp object. Hopefully I can get back to this undyed superwash super soonish -_-

I'm not sure which direction is easier, but fwiw, I learned to knit first and crochet second. Crochet became easier when I realized that, unlike knitting, the loop(s) I had on my tool didn't count as stitches. (Unless we're talking Tunisian crochet, but let's not go there right now XD)

Help. Please.

I'm *hoping* that getting our ducts cleaned will help. Andy's also never been prone to sinus infections, and has himself now had the same number with the same frequency, and our living space is our greatest common denominator in terms of where either of us spend any amount of time.

It feels good to be knitting again.

Yarns held double - sparkle sock weight "Snowball" from Happy Days Fiber Arts, and lace weight baby alpaca/silk/cashmere from Tactile Dactyl, both on Etsy. The lace weight is possibly *the* softest yarn I have ever touched - and was less than $25 incl shipping.

I do a combo of both, and the last couple days, the random stuff it's been suggesting to me has been garbage -_-

Is it just me, or has the YouTube algorithm become serious ass within the last few days?

Update: Definitely ill. So possibly it was actually running a fever AND a hot flash, because fucking hormones.

I'm gonna learn to use my new knitting machine and blearily watch YouTube.

Sometimes it's time to just say "fuck it", eat some peanut butter and chocolate cookies, and go to bed an hour and a half early.
