Yeah it is. Rate it for Irish or in general? Not good for Irish in particular (some good threads on Reddit etc about what), but I use it to supplement other sources. In general, I think it’s good for casual learning or fun, but not going to be your sole source if you truly need fluency.

One of my superpowers is being able to lose anything not actually attached to my body or nailed down, so getting new address labels and applying them to my non-nailed-down work gear is always a key part of starting a new job for me.

I still need to take the excess clear off the edges and trim it up (“cold working”) and then heat it up and let it sag into a tray shape (“slump it”), but I’m so happy with how it looks so far.

The final bonus is that I’m working with a bunch of folks I know from prior companies like Amazon, Splunk, and Google, including my entire management chain (other than Satya), and the company is very remote/hybrid-friendly.

And as you may be able to tell from the “copilot” branding, it uses AI, so I’m getting a chance to dive deep into the advantages and risks of AI, including LLMs like what powers ChatGPT.

I’m happy to be back at a big company, working with business customers, and extra-happy to be working in the security space as information security is so critical.

I started a new job this week, VP at Microsoft, Security Copilot.

We work across all of Microsoft’s security products and external security companies to make it much easier and faster for security operations professionals to quickly discover and investigate potential risks more quickly.
