Had one of those weeks where the news just feels insurmountable and no words will do the job. But this walk from Cramond to Queensferry a couple of weeks back really was a bit of a sanity saver. Love these early Autumn days where everything just feels so fresh and clear.

I overhear it in casual comments in the pub when I visit my parents. Something ugly has been normalised, and I worry about how long it is going to take to re-establish values aligned with progressive, human-rights and decency. Sad for all the lovely people having to endure this nonsense. ☹️
