Thursday appeal: Can we please stop generating AI versions of real people, of whom real photos exist, without their consent, for the purpose of 'marketing polish'...

It's a bit creepy, and more than a bit rude???

I was surprised to learn the Purple Pound is now worth a whopping £446bn in the UK! Accessible services are good for people and good for business.

Our #TheHiddenJourney survey shows access barriers cause so much frustration, while inclusive retail experiences earn trust and loyalty

The UK needs an independent process to calculate what the standard allowance should be that actually reflects what people need to get by.

🛡️ This would significantly strengthen our benefits system’s ability to protect people from hardship when they need it most.

Let me fix this for you. "This government deplores these racist, divisive statements." It is that easy! Just say the bad thing is bad straightaway and move on.

As someone who has been rigidly Windows/Android (read: can't afford Apple stuff), our IT team finally encouraged (made me) start using a Mac for my work laptop.

Quote 'You'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!'

Gritting my teeth as I admit they were so so right. This is a whole new world.

We're running a survey as part of our national accessibility campaign #TheHiddenJourney.

If you encounter barriers when navigating online retail experiences, we'd love to get your thoughts.

Had a bunch of really good chats this week (many of them with @chrisbush.bsky.social ) about disintermediation, and how quickly organisations are going to need to react to the huge shift in how users are accessing information and services through AI tools. It's fascinating, and a bit scary

The Forth Rail Bridge.

Had one of those weeks where the news just feels insurmountable and no words will do the job. But this walk from Cramond to Queensferry a couple of weeks back really was a bit of a sanity saver. Love these early Autumn days where everything just feels so fresh and clear.

I overhear it in casual comments in the pub when I visit my parents. Something ugly has been normalised, and I worry about how long it is going to take to re-establish values aligned with progressive, human-rights and decency. Sad for all the lovely people having to endure this nonsense. ☹️
