Giant novelty googly eyes stuck over the shallow cavity of an ornamental art deco fireplace. The cavity is painted black like a cartoon hole.

Had these big googly eyes for a while and I can't believe I didn't think to put them in this exact spot sooner. A brand new Loungeroom Presence

cobalt armor / calcium armor

Digital painting of a half man-half crab hybrid. The creature is mostly humanoid, but has crustacean armor covering its limbs and joints. The armor is spiky and in a striking blue color, it's upper torso is a hollow crab carapace with a glass sphere that serves as its helmet, almost similar to a space or diving suit. The actual head of the creature is entirely humanoid, with no ears, and its eyes are outside the armor, similar to antennae eyes of crabs. It's limbs are long and slim, with the hands looking like spiky gloves. It's wielding a sword in the shape of a crab claw, attached to a femur bone handle.

this year, I wanted to do a lot creature design, so I practiced during #MerMay. this isn't as pretty as my elegant merfolk but it's one of my favorite designs in the series 💙🦀
