We live and learn. I'm also curious if any of the girls/women in your family have been considered for autism. It often looks different in girls, and a doctor who still diagnoses Aspergers probably still thinks only boys have autism.

We don't say Aspergers anymore. Asperger was a Nazi who sent autistic children to die if they weren't useful. It's just autism.

It would be cool if we stopped treating autism as something that needs a scapegoat. If I thought moms taking Tylenol and vaccines would make their kids autistic, I'd be encouraging them to pop every pill and get every shot to increase their odds of having an interesting child.
