A MILESTONE has been achieved. My oldest is graduating today. I graduated at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 1988 and he will walk across the same stage. He’s already played here 3 times with the HS band for graduations past. So proud of him and what he’s grown into. #ProudFMVCParents

Aaaaaaaaaaaand that’s a wrap on my oldests high school career! The senior paper toss. Captain of the mtb team this year, marketing director of the Robotics team for 2 years and finished up 200hrs of cadet teaching locally. Graduation is next week! Where did the time go?

Almost lost a Jesus spring tonight…aka a pawl spring. Popped out while putting on the cassette. Luckily we found it and got it all back together. Der, cassette, front brake are all setup.

What day is it? It’s about to be new to us bike day…@yeticycles 2021 SB130 with a host of new parts. My youngest’s new whip. He needs a more trail bike than my oldest who had 2018 ASR XC bike. Now the whole family is part of the tribe! Mrs FMVC and I both have SB5’s.

Took the youngest to the bikeshop today. Got himself a new ride and it needs to have some parts installed that I don’t have the tools for. Made him introduce himself, explain what needed to be done, filled out the work ticket and put his phone number down. They grow up so fast…

Tibia plateau fracture in spring 2023. I still have some mental blocks when hitting things. But getting better every day.

Damn…that 2.5hr ride got me today. Mostly the headwind for the last 30 minutes. Felt good to be out with rain planned for the beginning of the week.

I would like to get back to park riding again. It’s just been 2 years since I’ve done it so it will take some time to go. We skied some black trails this year and felt good about them. The broken leg was the setback for me.

And with another game in the books…#BravesBaseball is on a 2 game win streak! Won a good game last night and came back this afternoon to hold on for the win. The youngest pitched well last night and went 2-3 today. Currently 3-5 half way through the season.
