I love that. I feel like this video needs more attention than it ever got. As old as it is. It is truly a work of video editing genius and storytelling.

(A hypnogogic hallucination is a hallucination that ocurrs between wakefulness and sleep. I have had them manifest as tactile hallucinations before, too. It feels like someone gently prodding at me with a finger. But often it's voices. Different voices. Sometimes one stands out.)

Had a hypnogogic hallucination stumbling through the dark to the bathroom. Normally it sounds like a crowd of people all talking at once so you can't pick out what they're saying. In this case it was a Bridgerton-like, parental voice that said:

"Has anyone seen Ms. Noem. Noone is watching her."

If you're dealing with a brat tho..it's very effective. 😇

Okay, but that does sound useful as an artist. If I had a drug to put me into flow with art specifically I'd be set! 😆

And oof. I can only imagine the stories. 😅

Highly recommend the CBD. It is incredibly gentle without giving a high feeling. If you're comfortable with that, of course!

I never wanted to take prescriptions. Too risky to me. I've heard some wild things about ambien. 😵‍💫

I tried melatonin once and all it did was make me feel drunk. The only things that get me to sleep are delta and cbd. 😵‍💫

And by small, I mean they're like the size of an egg. 😅

They're quite small and have a very specific behavior pattern. They fly to the bottom of a tree and they hop up the trunk picking up insects. When they've gotten high enough, they fly back down to the bottom of the same or another tree and repeat.

So keep your eyes on the trunks near the bottom!

Saw a lot of loud geese and mallards, but also a pair of common goldeneye. Oh! And! A brown creeper on the "creeper tree". That one excited me. 🥰

And I stg the most helpful thing my therapist told me on our first meeting was that I should make sure I take the rest of the day to rest after each session.

And I did that. And it was needed. 🫠

Ohhhh I see! I think EMDR is similar in that way too. But maybe less specific? Either way, I know the unpleasantness of confronting those things. And I absolutely know how healing it is. I'm literally a completely different person than I was 3 years ago.
