One only has to look at who runs youtube to see what the problem is. For myself, I do not allow my children to watch youtube. Instead, I read from all news sources both at home and abroad, forming an opinion that is fully my own, then sharing info with my kids so they can form their opinions also.

I looked it up. There were no commercial airline crashes in the states in 2024 or 2023. There was one in 2022, 10 deaths. The last time more than 10 people died in the states was 2009. The last time 2 crashes occured was 2005 with 21 deaths. 77 so far in 2025, we are 1/10 through the year.

You're not comparing the correct info. You need to compare commercial airline crashes in 2024 vs 2025. Then you get the accurate picture. People crash small planes often, as they are harder to fly and pilots have less overall experience with flying.
