lrt I don't think you have to fully agree with every point as something applicable to you, but I think they are very important points to consider.

Yes, absolutely keep your perfectionism in check. Have fun doing other challenges. But shame about not being able to do Inktober is kind of unhinged.

Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.

I suspect framing "zooming in" as a "bad habit" wasn't a winning strat.

I think It's helpful to frame it as "zooming in is (unnecessary) hard mode for seeing the whole shape and monitoring the full impression".

The problem with questions of obviousness is that you can't just ask "what was obvious to you?" because anyone could very well not conceptually have something in mind precisely because it was obvious.

The poll would have to be some list of things that are clearly shown and described.

By "dead areas" did you mean some parts didn't detect the pen anymore so the pointer jumps?

I wish there was some kind of large poll/survey of artists asking what aspects of art were immediately obvious to them, and which aspects made sense once it was explained, and then which aspects made no sense for a long time even after explanations.

I notice people don't agree on what "lasso fill" means yet.

I propose we call the lasso tool that makes a shape "lasso shape tool" and the lasso tool that fills the inside of existing outlines like a paint bucket "lasso fill" or "lasso bucket".

A few months ago, I was asking around for some rollstop recommendations and ideas for my tablet pen.

I've seen some old models with the plastic sheet before. I didn't know that was what it was for. I don't remember this one having it though. I either didn't notice or it was so used at that point that it had fallen off.

I was interning at a nonprofit some years ago and I saw this crazy giant Wacom tablet with a tall aspect ratio at an old education center. I never figured out what model it was or what it was for.

If you tried the "EnpitsuP" pencil brush before, and didn't use it. What made you pass on it?

Did it draw too light? Texture not for you? Your style needs something else? Just not your vibe?

Guillaume recently made some changes that really improved the ease of use of LNP's curve drawing.
