Pascale et l'équipe étaient dans le quartier au nord de Normanhurst vendredi. Les gens avaient beaucoup à dire sur l' #Éducation et la détérioration de la qualité de l'éducation et des soutiens dans les écoles de l'Ontario et l'éducation de la petite enfance.

Pascale and team were out in Riverdale South Wednesday talking with residents before the snowstorm. People talked about the need for better educational supports and for responsible governments.

Pascale a assisté mardi soir à la réunion de l'association de quartier de Rosedale. Elle a assisté à chaque réunion au cours des deux dernières années, afin d'écouter directement les habitants parler des problèmes qui les touchent.

Pascale attended the Rosedale Neighbourhood Association meeting on Tuesday night. She's attended every meeting in the last two years years to listen, first hand, about the issues affecting them.

On Tuesday, Pascale was out in Hamilton Beach to talk to residents. We all agreed that soot was a serious problem. As a longtime East Hamiltonian, Pascale knows this is something that has been going on for years, but that doesn't make it ok.

Congrats on winning with 55% of the votes!

473 people voted in the HWDSB Ward 4 Trustee by-election.
45% of them voted online.
This tells me that the online voting option made it easier for a lot of folks.
Especially for a trustee by-election, at the tail end of the holidays, on the coldest days of the year.

Not losing your mind! School boards can appoint someone or hold a by-election (Education Act & Municipal Elections Act). HWDSB chose to go the by-election route.
Council has the same options to fill a vacancy (Municipal Act) -- which is how Russ Powers was appointed to replace Chad Collins in 2021.

EN 1/2 The Ward 4 office, with the help of the Ward 3 office, is looking for what’s in the soot in the lower city. It’s a question of environmental justice for neighbourhoods with the lowest socio-economic status in #HamOnt.
