Not listened to this album in its entirety for years. It has moments of absolute prog rock gold coupled with catchy melodies. An underrated classic IMO

Tonight’s selection- a collection of bangers featuring the extraordinary Phil Collins… Hard to believe that ‘Mama’ (nearly 7 minutes long!) peaked at number 4 in the singles chart in 1983… how times change 😳

Tonight’s playlist- unashamedly #progrock featuring some absolute bangers - the @bigbigtrain.bsky.social track is a total tour de force. If you like Genesis, Pink Floyd or Yes you’ll find loads to enjoy in this selection

An absolute solid gold classic. ‘Out Of This World’ is about as good it gets 👊

No playlist tonight; inspired by a post earlier by @philrae.bsky.social I decided to settle back and enjoy this album in its entirety - the Steven Wilson remixed version is extraordinarily good 👍

Never underestimate the power of the hard of thinking… or the right wing funded media. In all of this however I do believe it’ll correct itself in time… and we’ll return to the EU where we belong.. because we have to believe that good always overcomes absolute fuckwittery

What’s really depressing is the weapons grade stupidity of the people who agree with this ideology… and unfortunately in the UK we’ll see the rise of Führage, 30p Lee and the rest of them because of this 🥺

So many great tracks - 21st Century, Quartz and Separated Out are absolute classics

I need to revisit this one - I remember being underwhelmed by it at the time and disappointed by it’s brevity- although it was released during the pandemic and I wasn’t on an even keel at that time 😂

Tonight’s pre-dinner selection literally goes from the sublime to the ridiculous… but I love every track! (Cue abuse…😂) The first track was inspired by an earlier FB post by my friend Philip Rae 👍

This is such an epically good track - astonishing vocals, arrangement and song writing 👊

Nothing will kill your enthusiasm for a nice meal out than the restaurant playing Boney M at intrusive volume. Worse still it’s the track ‘Belfast’, arguably their worst song in a motley selection of absolute mingers
