I'm not catholic, and in fact I'm not really a fan of organized religion in general, but I suddenly find myself very concerned about the selection of the new pope. I hope whomever it is has progressive views that will lead more people toward loving their neighbor, regardless of who their neighbor is

Its still somewhat bright out, but still hazy skies. The wind has certainly picked up in the last few hours. Also I am watching storm chaser Brandon Copic on YouTube. He's in Iowa and indicated the storms will primarily be in IA/MN

Oh! The other thing I was gonna mention. I could not get up to get my run done this morning. We'll have to see if it's a possibility to get it done outside this afternoon or if I'll be back on the treadmill for the first time in ages (ugh)

Being aware of the weather and knowing how things impact it has really helped me calm my anxiety in that regard so I'll post updates when I feel like it! Stay aware and stay safe!

But there's no knowing for sure until we get to the other side of this system. I'm just glad the I'm not going to a show tonight, that would be too much anxiety for me for one day.

Also hopefully no storms hit Madison so bad that the show ends up canceled for some reason, like power outage, damage

My current hope is the clouds stay in place so we can keep a cap on the atmosphere and no discreet supercells get a chance to pop off.

Pop off is also my favorite phrase when it comes to weather. I hope I don't have to use such highly sophisticated language later today and the whole thing busts.
