hoo boy.. taking 6+ hrs to line one little comm instead of my usual 2-3 just cause of how laggy my ipad's become in recent weeks definitely doesn't help with my massive backlog and time sensitive deadlines 🥲 getting more stressed and desperate (and angry at lineart not turning out as good as usual)

but also to have my ipad/laptop die on me while having this massive backlog and still not enough money to replace em sounds terrifying

i was hoping they'd last a couple more months while I slowly saved up but i think that hurricane power outage(multiple, actually) really messed them up

i haven't had the fear of "my main work devices can die any second now and my family will be left with no income bc other recent bs completely drained our savings" for a long time and ngl, i didn't miss it at all

Yes I'm urgently saving for a PC, but that good friend of ours whom we helped recover from the hurricane last saturday was out of work for over a week due to that painfully long power outage (their area got hit the worst) and since she's also our beloved nail technician..

30. I really look forvard to saving the last bits of goal for my dream (and urgent) PC/pen display setup, finishing my enormous comm queue and taking a break to draw for myself. God, I really fucking need it.

29. Thunderstorms when I'm inside and safe. Warm and clear summer nights when I'm outside. Also love cloudy skies with massive cumulus clouds, they're gorgeous.
Also snowy weather. Used to hate snow, but I haven't seen it in 4-ish years and ngl I miss it dearly..

25. not really? im very patient and endurant regarding people treating me badly. will try to still be nice until it becomes completely unbearable (for my endurance sky's the limit tho). but when i have to dump someone - it's fucking over. so i either keep tolerating or hate forever, no forgiveness.

22. collectively shitting on my ex-landlord with random people online made me laugh a lot over the past couple days.
all my recent laughs are mostly a defense mechanism from big time stress and pressure tho
but i always laugh a lot when i play repo with hubby and our bestie, if that counts
