I can't remember a time in my (45yr+) adult life when we weren't waiting for this.

I'm not sure I can handle being in this again. I have jury duty in March and my biggest anxiety right now is how I'll get downtown every day. anyone downtown need a condo sitter?

I have now read the article.

car alarms. of course! a pretty good way to help other families but stay fairly safe for your own family. I suppose the evil could note your car and cause issues for you later. but if you and your neighbours had every car go off can they find out whether manually turned on or triggered?

on the topic of shows one may or may not try out.. did you try the hockey Rivalry one? I don't know anyone who has. but I am curious.

yeah. exactly! I don't know of course but it feels closer to a real ER life. especially since each episode is an hour of a shift. you see more of the meticulous work that goes into it, and the waiting. I worked in a clinic (which isn't the same) but medicine seemed slow and calm by nature.

I watched it (half on a plane, half at home). they get right into the cuts but it wasn't aggressive (not every injury, not every episode, maybe a handful over the season) but they don't come with much warning to look away if squeamish. I like how calm the show is. and better than ER. which I loved.

there is no "pothole" option online.. what should we pick?

I just learned about this distillery last weekend while cleaning out a liquor cabinet. any chance you know shelf life? whether their 70s/80s era peppermint schnapps would be any good still? (the label art is * chef's kiss *)
