In light of recent news events:

When I make croissants it takes around 12 hours, depending on how many I'm making etc., and the cooling time
Someone at work recently told me I shouldn't bother making them because I could just buy ones that had already been made

And yeah, that's true, but I like baking. I like making things.

5 slightly better looking home made croissants in a cake pan, because I only have one baking sheet right now

Four decent looking homemade croissants in a different cake pan than the last five, because as previously stated I only have one baking sheet

It's 1am and my phone is not doing their color justice.
But they are delicious.

A little on the expensive side but doable

I then immediately had the crushing anxiety I always get when I "waste" money
Which had the kind of funny effect of making it REALLY obvious I need my anxiety meds again
