Watch out, they're adictive.
07.12.2025 20:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I grew up on an organic smallholding. You can transport sheep in a Mini estate (1970s vdrzion, not BMW fake) so I would imagine a Punto wpuld be easy.
07.12.2025 11:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0That is an impressive and highly appropriate curse.
06.12.2025 06:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0My country had one official religion when I was a kid. The Church of England.
Now it has two:
The NHS, and The War.
can someone please go on twitter and reply PARKLIFE to her
05.12.2025 17:21 β π 31 π 5 π¬ 0 π 0Very much so. Wes was a nasty piece of work when he was NUS president, and now he's a minister he's punching down on anyone he can.
05.12.2025 17:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I am pleased to say that growing up as an adult in the early 90s I recognised it as a crock of shite and tried to be a better person.
05.12.2025 09:30 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The key is what you do when you grow up. My sister went to Oxford and had.most of the Boris Johnson crop of Tory MPs as contemporaries. Believe me, there are career finishing stories in there. She went tto the crazy end of far right and is now an identitarian livimg in Germany.
05.12.2025 09:30 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My parents were very right wing. Supported South Africa, wanted the return of the death penalty, etc. I was brought up to be part of that world, as were I think many of my classmates. I'm not proud of my teenage self, but I can say I was one of the crowd not the outlier.
05.12.2025 09:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I was one of Maggie's Assisted Place kids at one of the most high-flying academic UK private schools from 1982 to 1989. This statement has *so* much truth to it. There was a guy in my year who fit that completely. The scary thing is I heard he joined the police.
05.12.2025 09:22 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If Wes Streeting comes after ADHD meds it will have a measurable effect on the UK tech economy.
05.12.2025 08:56 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0One of my favorite things is getting to tell friends who are new to NYC that the subway "stand clear of the closing doors please" voice is a trans woman named Bernie Wagenblast and she's amazing.
24.11.2025 18:19 β π 9069 π 2865 π¬ 64 π 112I've seen RAM price crises before. This one will burst, don't worry.
04.12.2025 15:16 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Girl gilding soinds more fun, you get to spray a lot of gold paint around.
04.12.2025 13:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I worry more for the physical safety of American trans people inthe future though than I do for Brits.
The UK is not awash with guns, and we do not have an ICE style organisation running amok.
It's not a game of bingo, but I think that while conditions in public are more dangerous for trans people in parts of the USA, the UK is now edging into having more hostile government treatment for us.
04.12.2025 13:47 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I don't think things will get better for UK trans people in 2026. Transphobes will continue marginalising us, with aid from media & government.
I worry they'll seek to remove our IDs, or criminalise us.
Best chance is May local elections. If Greens do well, it's a shot across their bows.
They interpret "Never again" as "Never again to the people they did it to last time". They fail to see the equivalence in their current actions.
04.12.2025 08:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you don't try you will never have any success.
03.12.2025 16:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This blew up a little.
I'm part of Trans Rescue. We help trans people escape dangerous places. Please help us in our work.

Many of them had to pay reparations after the war, and executives who participated in the Holocaust faced punishment though.
03.12.2025 14:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Any organisation joining the persecution of transgender people in the UK does not get a free pass.
This is going downhill fast, and it will end in a dark place.
When this is all over, there must be no "we didn't know", or "we were only followng orders".
This has to stick to them forever.
It's the age old problem of many similar startups all with the same idea, each convinced they are the only one with the special sauce.
02.12.2025 15:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, I understand that.
I am very lucky writing for Hackaday, that our readers know the difference and I can refer to an LLM or to machine learning by name.
Would it be appropriate to establish AI and then specify? "AI, using a large language model... ".

15.11.2025 13:09 β π 40 π 25 π¬ 3 π 1This is clearly someone who thinks the conglomerate parties created by First Past The Post are the natural order of things, and has never examined the greater plurality of a country using Proportional Representation.
30.11.2025 06:36 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0In a move that shoyld surprise no ody, Your Party turn out to be a transphobic shambles.
29.11.2025 22:36 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0"No crack, no smack, no angel dust" the lost verse of thy Only Fools and Horses closing theme music
28.11.2025 07:18 β π 27 π 5 π¬ 3 π 0There is a steady stream of refugees leaving Britain, but a lot of them are trans people escaping the hate atmosphere created by outlets like the Mail.
28.11.2025 08:13 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes, I made some people angry.
I'm actually 100% right, though.
