"Turn down the temp" is a normative exhortation. Defending protected speech (even cursing at college students or celebrating Kirk's death) is how we make sure the First Amendment stays a strong bulwark for political advocacy

One of those posts is about turning down the temp, and isn't partisan. The other is exactly what I'd expect from a principled advocate for expression

LAWSUIT: FIRE challenges unconstitutional provisions Rubio uses in crusade to deport legal immigrants over protected speech FIRE seeks a landmark ruling that the First Amendment forbids the government from deporting lawfully present noncitizens for constitutionally protected speech

BREAKING: FIRE is suing Secretary of State Marco Rubio, challenging the laws he is using to target lawfully present noncitizens for speech protected by the Constitution.

No administration should be able to deport lawfully present noncitizens for their opinions.

The TikTok and Paxton decisions made it pretty clear that the government doesn't have to prove their interest nor whether their means burden a substantial amount of speech. There's a massive runway for upholding age verification for social media now.

It was always the plan.

A failed plot to steal a local PA election shows how hard it is to pull off fraud A case of election manipulation in Pennsylvania serves as a reality check amid a raging national debate over election security and the threat of voter fraud.

This is such a great story. A mayoral candidate for a teeny tiny Pennsylvania borough tried to steal the election, and couldn't, showing how hard it would be to pull off something similar at a national scale.

Yes, they could. It's why they fought like hell to make sure most people couldn't vote, and those that could couldn't vote for everything.
