Lovely to drop by Glenwood Day Care Centre in Castlemilk yesterday with Councillor Carson to speak with relatives of people who use the service and staff. It was great to hear stories about the impact the service has on people's lives and to pick up some casework too.

Beautiful Christmas tree lights switch on in Carmunnock last night and a great turnout despite the rain.
Thank you to everyone who organised the switch on and the much appreciated mince pies and mulled wine afterwards.
The Glasgow Times front page today. The headline reads "Masked thieves leave shop customers intimidated".
After receiving worrying reports of shoplifting from residents, Cllr Carson and I have written to Sainsbury's urging them to employ a security guard at their Muirend store. Thanks to Nicole Mitchell and @glasgowtimes.bsky.social for covering the story.

Fantastic Labour gains right across Glasgow! A sign that people want the change Labour offers and are fed up of SNP decline in the city.
