I remember walking home from work in the dead of winter listening to wine & crime & them going off about how in intimate partner violence if he is choking you out how much more likely it is that eventually he will kill you. I honestly do not know how I am still alive.

That one time your entire existence revolved around making sure the person who said he loved you & you were his whole world didn’t mentally torture or physically beat you until you lost consciousness after work everyday. Two years later and I still dread going home.

How many times have you changed the entire lighting set up of your room in attempts to appease your abusive partner only for him to be mad about how the new thing wasn’t good enough either. Yeah, I’m down the rabbit hole today.
