A small town in England decided not to have its New Year's Eve fireworks so that Thor, an arctic walrus resting in the harbor, could sleep peacefully. This kind gesture allowed him to relax before continuing his journey to Iceland.

Plot twist- he just came for the fireworks. He left disappointed….

I did statistics in my sociology degree, commonly referred to as sadistics. Now I’ve forgotten what a standard deviation is. Please explain.

I’m convinced he is 1-2 standard deviations below the IQ norm. The norm is 100 so his IQ is between 70-85. I believe many of his followers fall in the same range which is why they identify with him. They have the same crass language and inability to articulate, well, pretty much anything.
