With Federal funding you can do a total refresh of an arterial including the subsurface utilities. in my view there’s a place for both approaches - quick build and comprehensive

🛴 Shared scooters and bikes were a big hit in Seattle this year: more than average 46,000 daily rides during the period of May thru October. The Lime seated scooter, a new vehicle type, outpaced shared e-bikes for second place after standing scooters

This will improve transit flow and create a safer pedestrian crossing walking northbound on Westlake. Congrats to @curtailes.bsky.social for his leadership in getting this installed
