I'ma need y'all to fully grasp this:

COMPUTERS
ARE
NOT
SENTIENT!

ANYTHING that requires complex & rational thought, emotion, or critical thinking, a computer CANNOT do.

It can only regurgitate what it is SCRIPTED to do!

It's why this AI "revolution" is BULLSHIT, and y'all are falling for it!

I know Charlie Kirk valued debate and free speech because he blocked me for fact-checking his lies on Twitter and then put me on his organization's Professor Watchlist for writing a book he didn't like.

This is also the exact vibe of Charlie Kirk obituaries. Nary a mention of how he said he’d hypothetically force his daughter to deliver her rapist’s baby at age 10

Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

Don't. Print. Lies. In. The. Newspapers 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😡

It's not a "trade agreement", bc POTUS can't make "trade agreements" on his own, & every media outlet should stop being lazy by using "deal" or "agreement" & instead do journalism & explain to readers that all of this is wildly illegal & not how it works.

We need to amplify the good news, the stories where communities come together, where ordinary people learn to fight back, where politicians and judges do what is right. If this ship can be saved, it will be up to all of us to not give up the fight.

I have worried for a while that algorithms on major social media sites will ensure Democrats are blamed for the destruction of Medicaid. It doesn’t matter that Republicans are at fault when you can engineer reality for tens of millions of people.

The saga of the NYT's anti-Mamdani story taken from notorious white supremacist Jordan Lasker (they call him an "academic") gets even more amazing: Lasker's only impactful paper, which claimed white people are smarter, is infamous: it misused data so badly it got his tenured co-author fired. 2/

Voting is the bare fucking minimum. Not just the presidential ones every 4 years either then disengage.

It’s not vote and do nothing.

It’s vote AND join a tenants union, volunteer, support mutual aid orgs, TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBORS. Get to know your community. They’re the ones going to help most.

You know that thing happening, where, since ICE wear plain clothes & masks & no identifying badges, ICE impersonators are out doing crime?

What if that’s a feature, not a flaw intended to provide the cover of plausible deniability when ICE are caught criming

It’s not hyperbole to say that the deaths in Minnesota are on the GOP’s hands. They’ve built this political environment and they’ve allowed a demagogue to spread hate. This is entirely on them.

Pregnancy Clauses | Voices in Bioethics

Restrictive abortion bans are bad enough, but many States have a pregnancy clause that “invalidates the advance directive of a pregnant woman, negating autonomy”

The moment you become pregnant you effectively cease to be a person. Your autonomy vanishes. You can’t even decide your fate in death

In what has already been interpreted as an attack on that strategy, the DNC's Credentials Committee on Monday upheld a complaint brought by Oklahoma activist Kalyn Free, who lost out on one of the vice chair positions in February I's elections and subsequently accused The DNC of breaking its own rules on gender diversity, potentially invalidating the elections of Hogg and Malcolm Kenyatta.
A full DNC vote will now be held on the committee's findings, which could mean new elections being staged, with the same five candidates, including Hogg and Kenyatta, on the ballot once again.
"While this vote was based on how the DNC conducted its officers' elections, which I had nothing to do with, it is also impossible to ignore the broader context of my work to reform the party which loomed large over this vote." Hogg responded in a statement.
"I ran to be DNC Vice Chair to help make the Democratic Party better. not to defend an indefensible status quo that has caused voters in almost every demographic group to move away from us.
"The DNC has pledged to remove me, and this vote has provided an avenue to fast-track that effort."

The Dems saw that David Hogg was anti-gerontocracy and said his PAC might primary currently seated Dems (something a majority of Dem voters agree on rn) and they said "Fuck off forever" almost immediately, and got rid of him in a way almost custom designed to lose voters and empower the right lol.

Masking should be mandatory in all healthcare settings. Hospitals and doctor’s offices are where most sick people congregate. It’s also the most likely place for more high risk people to be. You shouldn’t have to risk getting sicker or more disabled while trying to get treatment.
