Dr Áine Brady, our NeuroAdapt Fellow at @dublincityuni.bsky.social, is studying proteins involved in neuroinflammation as part of her NeuroVolt project. Her research aims to improve early detection & develop targeted treatments for neurological conditions, moving discoveries from lab to clinic.

Imogen Briggs, FutureNeuro PhD Candidate, is using AI to explore therapies that have the potential to restore circadian rhythms disrupted in epilepsy. Her research aims to turn clinical observations into treatments that reduce seizures or uncover entirely new options.

⭐ Day 3 of the NeuroInsight & NeuroAdapt Winter School focused on research impact and career pathways. From research translation and entrepreneurship to innovation in teaching and routes to lectureships, the day offered practical insights from both institutional and fellow perspectives.

Day 2 of the NeuroInsight & NeuroAdapt Winter School explored diversity, health equity and scientific progress. Sessions covered inclusive research cultures, bias in genomic data, epilepsy genetics, funding pathways and industry partnerships, alongside fellow research presentations.
