The absurdity in constantly telling a group of people that they are malign, wrong, morally bankrupt, not because of what they DO, but because of what they ARE, and then crying outrage when that bullying results in people standing up to the bully. 🙃

It still surprises me how gullible and naive a significant number of our citizens are. I’d always hoped that the majority would believe in advancing the human condition, and generally just being decent people. How are we meant to see those thugs attacking and intimidating fellow citizens as that?

Where does this lead?

Maybe stop trying to politicise every freaking thing. Maybe stop trying to create division and promote hatred at every opportunity. Maybe stop trying to alienate people who are different from you. Maybe stop cheering on violence thinking it won’t find its way to your own door.

Wakey wakey… It’s 3pm and the UK just collectively 💩 itself. 😅

I still don’t understand how people can so readily give up everything they have just to be publicly racist. 😞

The last hurrahs of Summer ‘25

They’re so proud of their national identity here in the backwaters of the West Midlands that they’ve managed to tape virtually every union flag to their lampposts upside down. 🙃

Imagine wanting to throw away all your freedoms, rights and protections, just so you can be a little extra racist. What is the world coming to?! 🤦🏻‍♂️

TV conmen only really know how to do two things - theatrics and lying. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I used to be in London most weekends over many years and never had any incidents at all.

I do think people are generally just angrier and emboldened now, but I don’t want to generalise when it comes to hate crimes and things, as we know where that narrative leads. It is just unfortunate.

I don’t really have any evidence so it would likely be more traumatic for me than just trying to get over it. If I’d got a photo or something I’ve have logged it at least, tho obviously nothing would come of it.

I think I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the slew of slurs makes me think she has done this before, and will do it again, without any consequences.

The sad thing is that of the 2 visits to London I’ve made this year, I’ve been attacked both times. Just really unlucky.

Sadly absolutely nobody intervened, or offered to help, which I think was the most upsetting part. People just turned a blind eye. I guess that’s just how things are.

Thankfully only slightly bruised, and hopefully no cracked ribs, but I sure am very sore today.

Context: I was subject to an unprovoked hate crime yesterday in London, both physical and verbal assault. It was pure homophobia (she thought my sunglasses looked gay) out in public.

I didn’t record or photograph her, mostly because I was just shocked that someone would attack me out of the blue.

I really wish the world was a less angry and hateful place. The way everyone’s default setting is rage thesedays is just so sad. 😞

Oh all things really. I just finished one on Roswell which was mildly amusing. 😁
