Isn't this just following a recently discovered cover up in which they irradiated the ocean with a leak?

I am horrified. If you use US material, download all old reports you use. The record will be erased. Even that might not save you: every report sourced from the US will now have to be suspected of politicised manipulation and will in the future the same credibility as Iranโ€™s human rights reports

Watched a couple of episodes from the new King of the Hill. There's some changes to get used to (Dale's voice is gonna take a while especially), but it feels pretty authentic to the old show. Nice to see the heart's still there.

Haley MacLean won't be attending the MinnMax community meetup this Saturday because US Customs wouldn't let her into the country from Canada because she might appear in a video...

Yes, we're also furious at the US government. Send some love to @haleyfax.bsky.social!

I reply: "i actually had a career in knifemaking before this. the reason why you can't avoid tariffs in knifemaking is because everyone relies on Gobelin machinery. are you aware of this?"

Alex replies: "Gobelin machinery? What exactly are you referring to?"

I reply: "you Gobelin DEEZ NUTS!"

I've had a lot of bad experiences with bus drivers and taxi drivers and I just get the feeling that out of all the customer facing jobs you can have, transporting members of the public seems to wear you down the most.

It says a lot about where we're going that the BBC is now running stories in which they ask lifeboat crews whether they will apologise for using their boats to save lives

Imagine being the most powerful man in the UK and sitting quietly and occasionally laughing along while the President VISITING YOUR COUNTRY goes on a stream of consciousness about the dangers of foreigners and what a piece of shit your London mayor is? Don't have to imagine it, it's what he did.

Itโ€™s time for our own collective shout. Who are you calling?

Remember: Stress youโ€™re a repeat caller on this issue and that you heard about this controversy on the news. With Visa, ask for a supervisor once you hit a dead end. Calls should always last longer than 30 seconds

I don't know how actively I'll work on it, with how I've been lately, but I've worked on a really tight one-page design document to help me focus on something.

I have a clear goal and the scope is small. Hopefully that'll help recapture how things were, creatively, before life went sideways.

There's a counter protest for this shit in Glasgow, yeah? Because this garbage isn't okay. Specifically targeting people waiting in hotels like this isn't okay. Rampant racism like this isn't okay. Fuck these people.

We also really need politicians that aren't in a foreign country's pocket. Especially not one actually committing decades of war crimes. Free Palestine.

I liked the Superman movie. It struck the same vibe as watching a movie release of some animated series, even though I know there's nothing set in that universe yet, but other than that it was a good time.

I also appreciate how much time he spends just saving animals and bystanders from his fights.
