This was something that the Charter Reform Commission was seriously looking at to fix, but now that Martin Schlageter is no longer on the commission, I think all chances of fixing it are dead.

Yeah. I know. For me, I have to take 2 busses, that thankfully share bus stops. But the first bus only runs during rush hour, and then the last morning pickup for my second bus is at 9AM. Then it resumes at 3PM.

So this means I'm waking up at 6:40 every day to get there between 9-9:30

So, as someone who prefers a 90-120 minute bus commute to driving for 30-45 minutes, I fully support a daily bike to work plan

Some of the police accountability reforms we have to start all over for is:
1. Fees coming from police budget instead of general fund
2. Police losing their pension when they commit crimes on the job.

Multi-member districts are dead. Proportional ranked choice voting is dead. Police accountability is severely at risk. Public works reform is also dead.

She's not the lefty we want, but I do not want another 4 years of Bass.

Her staff and some of her appointees have replaced all 13 police accountability reforms with a new Christopher Commission.
