A number of large animal puppets - two giraffes, kudu and others - move into place around the back of the London assembly building on a sunny summer morning.
In the courtyard of Somerset House in intense late afternoon sun puppeteers dressed in black sit by the now inanimate puppet animals they have spent the day operating. A crowd watches moved.
Has been the most amazing day following @theherds.bsky.social through London. Astonishing teamwork, creativity and camaraderie demonstrated by the puppeteers and a message about climate change and extinction that grew in potency through the day. 🦓🦍🦒
