Facing 100 Lawsuits, Trump Admin Walks Back Student Visa Record Terminations The administration says that it is restoring student visa records while it drafts a new policy to allow terminations.

The Trump administration is walking back visa record terminations for thousands of students across the U.S. after suffering numerous losses in court and admitting last week that officials do not have the authority to terminate studentsโ€™ immigration statuses by revoking their records.

This is why we must fight for everyone. Whether theyโ€™ve been incarcerated or have had contact with the criminal legal system or are merely undocumented. When you accept that some people are deserving of detention and deportation the scope of who is eligible is always under threat of expanding.

Medicaid and related programs provide health insurance for nearly 80 million adults and children, but potential cuts outlined would leave millions with less money to pay for food and housing while boosting incomes for the extremely wealthy by 3.9%.
