When moving kids to a new country with a different language:

Yes, it's important for them to learn the new language if you plan to stay for a while.

But it's also important to read to them in their native emotional language as well.

Otherwise, reading is work rather than fun. 📚

I do like reading to the kids. They get so happy with the books. One even took this one home 🖤

Books are not clutter. Clutter is all the other stuff that gets in the way of having more books.

One thing people don't realize about therapy is that each individual therapist is so different. Even within the same scope.

It's a bit like a blind friendship date.

You both have to have rapport or nothing is going to shift.
