A red American Cross sticker that says Let's Save Lives Together is stuck on a post for a stop sign. Someone has written this on it with a black sharpie: "ICE equals Limp Dick."

I feel like I should treat these anti-ICE stickers like an Easter egg hunt and see how many I can find in my neighborhood. This makes three so far.

I chuckled seeing these this morning, in large part because the pole is across the street from our Maga neighbor who got creamed in the recent city council race. I'm surprised she hasn't run her Trump flag back up her pole yet (she took it down when she announced her campaign).

We're here at the anti-ICE demo at Boise City Hall in solidarity with Minneapolis and in support of Alex Pretti, who was murdered by the state yesterday.

It is so odd to have my comment section full of people using the r-slur and being overtly transphobic towards me while also arguing “I don’t get Star Trek”. Just wild cognitive dissonance thinking.

ICE killing #AlexPretti should remind you of police killing #PhilandoCastille. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.

We talked to 5 people who are considering attending. All want to support Minneapolis, honor Alex Pretti, and call to end ICE. One wonders what PSL is doing for a strike fund if they want to expand the strike meaningfully. Half are going.

People will contort themselves into knots not to acknowledge that both parties paid for violence workers to kill people and that many many people have been saying this. Evidently it is preferable to think they are J6ers, Proud Boys, newbies, soldiers or anything else to ignore what many said!
