it’s been quite the week in my kitchen.

SPOONRESTS ARE COOL GUYS

About 15 years ago, I was visiting friends in Halifax, and I was on a quest to find a handmade ceramic spoonrest as a souvenir to take home.

Today I’m going to work on my pottery wheel and make a bunch of spoonrests for tourists at the store where I sell my pottery in Bragg Creek.

(My friends and I were doing our weekly hang out and one friend realized that she’d forgotten today was Valentine’s - I mean, they moved last weekend, she’s had a busy week! - so she made a card for her husband. I was honoured to assist with my crafting hoard! Also she’s an artist, the card was 💯)

It finally happened.

There was a CRAFTING EMERGENCY at my house last night, and my hoard of construction paper, googly eyes, glue sticks, crayons, glitter tape and glitter glue, came in clutch!

POCKETS!!

As a former airline employee who sometimes had to groom planes for a turnaround, this is at least much preferred by airline employees than jamming it into the seat pocket!

The bigger question is, are tech executives conscious?
