Here are some highlights from the plan:
✅ Synchronize traffic lights citywide to reduce congestion
✅ Complete the Green Line + direct LRT link to the airport
✅ Faster pothole repairs and better snow clearing

My plan tackles both the everyday frustrations—potholes, red lights, snow clearing—and the big picture: better transit, safer school routes, and long-term investment in jobs, freight, and active transportation.

❓ Why was this raise approved in secret?
❓ What public interest was served by keeping it hidden?
❓ What justifies such a huge increase?

If the City were a public company—and in many ways, it is—we’d expect full transparency on decisions of this scale.

I’ve served as a City Councillor, CEO, and Police Commissioner. I know that some matters require confidentiality.

But this? This was about executive compensation. It should’ve been shared openly with Calgarians. #yyccc

The approval was buried in months-old Council minutes—vague, confusing, and passed via three secret motions moved by Councillor Sharp and seconded by Councillor Walcott.

The only reason we know? Journalists spent months digging. #yyccc

That alone raises eyebrows. But what’s worse is how it happened: behind closed doors, with no public debate, and no clear public record.
