decision to allow Russian 🇷🇺 teams back in official events.

It is extremely embarrassing for chess, that a democratic country under daily attacks, finds it necessary to do so.

Still I think there is ways. You could contact the Chess Federation of Russia and ask them not to use your server.
You could delete the event when notified.

I would still think you are responsible how your server is used?

@lichess The Russian Agricultural Bank was sanctioned by the EU in August 2022.

Ideally do not transmit their tournaments, but at least do not advertise their logo.
