We’re heartbroken to learn that Dr Jane Goodall has passed away, aged 91.

Dr Goodall was one of the true conservation giants of our time. Let’s honour her legacy by choosing to make a difference in the world - by protecting it.

(Just a polemic I feel strongly about, no need to drag the pod into ultra-serious territory if you don't want to!)

Example: Northampton loaned (at a cost) Dara Costello & Ben Perry & developed them into 1st team players last season. This summer, both are sold by the parent clubs for a rumoured £750k combined, NTFC get nothing. Its akin to private landlords buying, then fleecing renters and inflating the market

Idea: I think the loan market should be abolished. I think it will stop the stockpiling of talent by the rich, give smaller clubs the financial rewards for developing players, and I think it might actually make wages demands attainable for smaller clubs. Is this a sensible or stupid idea?

Any idea how big the market for free agents is? I imagine their demands will start to decrease in the next couple of weeks and options of NGW quality might become attainable.

What was remarkable about the Sea Power sets at @krankenhausfest.bsky.social was the strength of the songs they could leave out: Remember Me, Oily Stage, Atom, Lights Out, Bohemian, Machineries, PSU, Zeus, St Louis, Lakeland... They could easily have done another Greatest Hits set. Incredible band
