27.01.2026 17:35 โ ๐ 161 ๐ 29 ๐ฌ 6 ๐ 6I donโt come to this stance naturally. Like many edtech researchers, I started out of hope. But study, after study, after study has clearly showed the truth. Making effective EdTech is hard. It can be done. But most often is not.
24.01.2026 16:15 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Last November I wrote a public piece critical of AI in education. Editor rejected it saying my claim that edtech is largely ineffective was unfounded. Edtech not working is the baseline. Rigor, testing, and transparency are needed to ensure more public $ is not wasted and students actually benefit.
