Edtech not working is the baseline. Rigor, testing, and transparency are needed to ensure more public $ is not wasted and students actually benefit.

He flees. The son pursues.
Gremlin tries to start a new family. They expose the gremlin to a known allergen, it is fatal.

Gremlins just eating and drinking and making a mess.
Bartender gets annoyed, kills one just for hanging on a ceiling fan.
Gremlin responds by threatening her with a gun. Does not shoot. Threatens.
The mom frantically stuffing a gremlin into a microwave, for kicks.
By the third one, she just wanted the gremlin to suffer.

Rest of the movie is really a revenge story, gremlins strike back.
BTW, what is with the clothing choices of the thieves? Leader in a suit; one goon in a cardigan, another in a tight leather jacket, and another in matching grey sweatshirt and pants. From ski-lodge chic to gymnasium casual-these guys did not coordinate at all.
