Genial would-be old bloke interested in mediæval history, British art, science, music, cats, old telly and Doctor Who.

Born after, say 1970 and it would have been a fundamental part of your adolescence, but much older than that and not only were you outside the target audience, but you'd also remember the real stuff like The Changes and Children of the Stones.

16.10.2023 18:30 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I've not found it since, despite scouring YouTube for years. The other Bura & Hardwick musical animations from this series were released on VHS over thirty years ago, but Kije wasn't included, sadly.

It was a worrying time when my 13-year-old discovered Educating Marmalade. I had a nasty suspicion that he was taking notes...
23.09.2023 00:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Season 20 is my favourite. Very few people agree with me, but I don't care. And yes, these collections definitely help us appreciate stories we didn't necessarily notice properly at the time.
