Just finished up a retelling of The Wizard of Oz and am working on the 4th book of the Thursday Murder Club series.

The SAVE Act would silence the voices of tens of millions of Americans. Tell Congress we don’t need any more barriers to voting; we need voting to be easy and accessible for everyone. Vote NO on SAVE Act.

Trump gutting the Dept. of Education will impact every child.

But states that voted for Trump rely more heavily on Dept. of Education funds than those that didn't.

Education funding shouldn't be a red vs. blue issue.

It should be about all of us supporting the common good.

And to control women who, studies conducted by Pew Research shows, are more likely to vote than men and are more likely to vote blue. 🙄

NH’s new ID requirements send some would-be voters home to grab passports, birth certificates The law requires all new voters to show proof of their U.S. citizenship. For some, that meant making multiple trips to and from the polls before finally casting a ballot on Tuesday.

Ladies and gentlemen of Michigan, this is what @jocelynbenson.bsky.social and @michigansos.bsky.social are trying to warn you about. The MI GOP wants to make it harder for people to vote under the guise of “strengthening voter ID laws.”

Education Department cutting nearly half of workforce | CNN Politics The US Education Department said it is cutting nearly 50% of its workforce, according to senior agency officials, as President Donald Trump has proposed eliminating the agency altogether.

This isn’t about fixing bureaucracy in Washington. This is about defunding your local public school.
