This is IMO important. Every study needs to be replicated before we can assume certainty.
Haven’t we also seen a similar yet opposite study that showed (some samples of) mitochondria from pwME were equally capable of energy reproduction?

Like so many said from the start, because this is not new, but the defining feature of this era is to never listen to people who predict things accurately, and instead promote the people who got it completely wrong, and health care is no different at that.

I feel that the word “debilitating” needs to be in every definition of PEM.
PEM is IMO “Outside the sphere of human experience”, a phrase I personally use to describe PEM to people who don’t have ME, that I thought Ed Yong had originated.
Turns out he never actually said that, at least not about ME.

And yes, it’s clearly within experience of #pwME (before anyone corrects me).
I only mean healthy people’s experience of course.
