We seem to be in the transitory period from distribution -> application. These things take time (& infrastructure) 🤝

Bitcoin's broadband moment will happen when the software & infrastructure are invested in & evolve similarly to what we saw w/the Internet in the 90s>00s.

If you feel Bitcoin has failed in its mission (this seems akin to giving up on the Internet during the dialup modem era), what's the alternative?

I do agree that (much of) "crypto" seems scammy, but Bitcoin > crypto.

Bitcoin is for anyone, but it's not for everyone.

You seem to paint with a wide brush here, you can be sure there are folks who indeed wish to be their own bank.
