It’s so fun and a little tragic that his mother realizes but just… lets him go. Again. Also just wild to let that very significant lore development be in a super offhand scene that could easily be skipped by the player haha

Also unsure if this is common but I spend a lot of time staring into space and hallucinating the scene first in my head, then trying to capture what my mind just simulated in words. Like I watch it as a little movie first then I describe it in prose.

I start with an idea for a premise or a climactic scene and then I outline vaguely in paragraphs, bullet point outline scenes, then dive in with writing. Computer doc mainly but sometimes phone if I’m trapped in an airport (3 of my fics were entirely written in airports dunno if it’s obvious lol)

Hardest of the balthus ships to write vs easiest?

My very last minute writing year in review graphic! It feels like a very quiet writing year for me since most of what I wrote I have not posted, but I actually did a lot!

music for a while was the first dimilix fic I ever read (something I suspect I share with a lot of others) and it inspired me to explore the fandom and eventually contribute a bit myself. which has been a really special part of my life for 5 years now!!!
