a digital illustration featuring three of the rain world dlc slugcats: spearmaster, rivulet and the watcher. they have all been redesigned. the spearmaster has a very long and flat body, with a white segmented carapace running from its nose to the tip of its tail, which bears a cone snail-esque stinger. it appears to be a centipede mimic. the rivulet's markings heavily resemble those of a blue dragon sea slug and it bears purple dorsal fins at the tip of its tail. the watcher looks like a relatively normal slugcat but appears to be melanistic, with faint dark spots running along its back and head. amidst the spots, touches of gold swirl along its skin. a small doodle of a peach lizard sits next to the watcher.

I'll say it again, Art is communication.

"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.

I don't think motivating people to move to other platforms to avoid the stupid censorship rules is a good solution. Quite the opposite. There is NO SAFE space for artists nowadays, if we don't fight back this will only get worse and worse
