As someone who interacts with folks who handle wayyyyy too much money, warmth beats professionalism any day. Anyone telling you you rein yourself in is worried you’ll outshine them.

Ha, no co-op. Plenty of artist who work for me who do. not. like. me. And that’s okay! I’m grateful we can be professional and still make something rad.

It’s just one of those persistences. Folks are always eager to have me plotting something, planning something, eager to declare an enemy.

And it’s just not me anymore, but some folks keep onto years and years and years-long impressions. Regularly end up feeling held back by a person I’m not.

And you’re a puppy whose favorite underwear state is slightly less than whatever they’re currently wearing. We all have our burdens. Just your heavy lifting happens to be in your underpants. Love you too, kibblebreath.

I have a rat in my life. He persistently gets ahead of where I’m going. And it’s just delightful to know that the me I’ve worked so hard to be had -predictability-. And I know it’s a cheat to like, not have the old patterns to observe against. But it’s just nice to be as I currently am for once.

I am developing a life where folks see me as I want to be seen:

It was such a struggle to convince people I’m not marching to war tomorrow. Even moreso to convince myself.

But it’s nice to know folks see me differently. I can’t erase my core, but I can interpret those birth-lessons differently.
