Hate that Labours dial back on cuts to disability welfare is being primarily seen as "U Turn" failure of Starmer.
As if the inability to force a party to vote for something awful against their convictions is the fault in a situation putting hundreds of thousands in poverty for budget review savings.

Threatening benefits of mentally ill and disabled people to make them work is such a fundamental misunderstanding of mental health and disability.

MPs should of faced a review of their legitimacy for office and education & training sessions, not thumbs up for government policy.

Yeah. He's one of my favourites. That particular story is a good call. Might be why I often prefer his unanswered shorts.

PTSD Radio by Masaaki Nakayama felt like it was tapping this kinda tone too. It does a nice history hopping flesh out of a kinda urban legend series of incidents.

Is there any comics that capture a similar vibe to this?

I've seen/felt it done by text, video/film, games, photography, audio, drawings and painting.. but not yet experienced it with comics.

I don't know if it's where comics struggle with things that loom in subtlety? I've tried and yet to click.

Doubt I'll do Inktober. But last night layered a drawing over an earlier painting mess and came out alright...
