Next week we’re supporting #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek with @place2becharity.bsky.social In secondary we will be spending the week discussing the theme of "This is my place" talking about belonging and the impact on our mental health.

This evening, we celebrated our Year 11 Scholars. Their presentations were thoughtfully prepared and confidently delivered, showcasing the progress they’ve made.

Our Year 10s are very happy to take part in Creative Futures at the Alhambra Theatre and met inspirational Bradfordians, including actor award winning actor Shaun Thomas, writer of BBC Drama Virdee Amit Dhand and actor, comedian and writer Jessica Knappet. @appletonacademy.bsky.social

So good to see our students collaborating with Bradford Colleges and working with professionals in the industry at the Creative Futures event! Hopefully inspired some future creatives from Appleton! @appletonacademy.bsky.social

Today we researched 3 live job vacancies in Bradford relating to Food. We listed the skills and qualities required. We researched about the companies and wrote a list of interview questions. We finished with a role play interview.
