Community action works.

They don't understand. They have never seen the deaths and defects of diseases that we eradicated. I am distraught over the children who will be impaired or lost because of this ignorance.

Florida ranks 10th worst in the nation for home foreclosures, with more than 9,600 properties at risk statewide.

What are Florida Republicans doing to fix this housing crisis? Nothing. Instead they are painting over rainbow sidewalks.

My name is Graham Platner and I’m running for US Senate to defeat Susan Collins and topple the oligarchy that’s destroying our country.

I’m a veteran, oysterman, and working class Mainer who’s seen this state become unlivable for working people. And that makes me deeply angry.

The Real Cost of Voter ID Laws β€” And Who Pays the Highest Price Read about the fight for democracy from activists, elected officials, legal experts and others.

In Texas, a gun license is accepted to vote, but a student ID is not.

In North Dakota, voters need an ID with a residential street address, barring some Native Americans from voting.

In Wisconsin, a mismatched address can lead to a rejected ballot.

Who will they go after when the Brown people are gone?
It's going to take a lot to fill those internment camps.
What happens to our economy and big business profit when consumers are gone?
Will they look overseas to counties that will actually be growing.

Good thing to keep mind as the red states ramp up rhetoric is that all of them depend on federal handouts. They are already dependent on socialism to survive and have been for YEARS

The states at the bottom are the only ones paying more than they take. theyre blue too!

when history reflects on how trump managed to so quickly and so thoroughly kneecap democracy, the role of the Roberts Court cannot be overstated. trump's an amoral monster, but his biggest successes were only possible thanks to conservative justices who would bless them

Federal agents thought they could stay at LA-area hotels. Communities are trying to make sure they can’t When federal agents checked into a Pasadena hotel, they didn't expect hundreds of protesters and a day laborers’ band β€” now the tactic that kicked them out is spreading across LA.

These jackbooted thugs think they can hide behind masks and terrorize communities without any personal cost. The hotels think they can cash Trump's dirty checks without consequences. These protests make it clear that they're both wrong. I love it.
